Our generic replacement for the American Ultraviolet GML270 Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a 75 Watt germicidal air, surface and water treatment bulb that comes with four pins on a single end. The UVC bulb is compatible for use with the following UV-C system model:

The light bulb is completely compatible with germicidal OEM water and air disinfection filters, ultraviolet purifiers and UV sanitizers. The UV lamp is thoroughly tested and has a life of up to 10,000 hours after which the germicidal UV output diminishes while the lamp may continue to emit light. The UV lamp has a total length of 61.8 inches and has a peak output of 253.7nm. This energy reacts photo-chemically with the genetics of the microorganisms and prevents them from reproducing. Studies show that UV water purification has the ability to destroy 99.9% of waterborne microorganisms.
This method of sterilizing water is a purely physical process and does not alter the pH, taste or chemistry of water and is a much better option than chemicals and their byproducts.
