The Atlantic Ultraviolet AD18 Replacement UVC Lamp is an 18 Watt germicidal water treatment bulb. It has a total length of 380mm. The replacement bulb is made using non-ozone glass and has a base style of single pin on double end base. The UVC light bulb has a rated life of 10,000 hours after which we highly recommend that you replace the light bulb to maintain the efficiency of the system.
The UVC light technology helps in sterilizing, and killing 99.9% microorganisms present in water. The UVC bulb emits a short wavelength of 253.7nm that acts on the genetic structure of the microorganisms and renders them harmless against causing harmful bacteria and microorganismss. Since this method is only a physical state, it does not alter the pH, composition and taste of water.
