Description
Atlantic Ultraviolet Authentic Replacement 05-1053-R UVC Light Bulb
Miniature 2 Pin Double Ended – 14 Watt Germicidal Water Treatment Bulb- Ozone Producing
The Atlantic Ultraviolet 05-1053-R Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a miniature two-pin double-ended germicidal water treatment bulb that is made by the original manufacturer with OEM water disinfection filters, water purifiers, and sanitizers. The 14 Watt water treatment bulb has a rated life of 10,000 hours after which we recommend that you replace the bulb even if it emits light rays.
The light bulb is capable of destroying bacteria, viruses, molds, yeast, and other pathogens present in water. It gives you 12 months of worry-free use and provides you safe water at all times. The light bulb emits a short wavelength of 253.7nm that is capable of destroying the genetics of the microorganisms to render them harmless. The light bulb has a base style of double-ended miniature two-pin and measures 11.3″ in length. Researchers are of the opinion that the UV method of sterilizing water is a purely physical process. It does not affect the chemistry, pH, or taste of water in the process and is a much better option for chemicals and their bi-products.
