This lamp uses UV-C light to inactivate and kill bacteria, molds, protozoa, viruses, and yeasts. With its extended lifespan and low mercury dosage, this fixture aligns with environmental requirements. The germicidal water treatment bulb operates within a wavelength range of 254 nm, efficiently disrupting the genetic makeup of microorganisms, rendering them incapable of reproduction.
