The General Electric GPH793T5L/4P – UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 38 watts water treatment bulb that gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The UV light bulb has a four-pin on a single end base and a wavelength range of 254nm. With an average lifespan of 10,000 hours, the germicidal water treatment bulb uses UV-C light to destroy and kill microorganisms present in water. The UV light bulb has ceramic as its base material and is compatible with Germicidal OEM water disinfection filters, UV sanitizers, and Ultraviolet water purifiers. It does not make use of chemicals and their by-products, so it is an environmentally friendly option. The lamp uses high-intensity UV light to destroy bacteria and other pathogens present in the water.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
