The UV reflector is specially coated and is manufactured to help in reflecting UV curable energy. This liner is compatible to the Mitsubishi printer.

The purple coated reflectors help in allowing infra red radiation to pass through by reflecting visible light. Lesser infrared radiation means reduced heating of the illuminated objects in the light beam. The dichoric reflector is necessary in compatible fixtures that help in scattering heat. It is said that dichoric reflectors must not be fitted to closed luminaries.
