The Plusrite – GPL18 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment has four pins in a straight line on a single end 2G11. The U-bend tube has wattage of 18 Watts and features a lamp length of 8.66 inches. With a twin tube T16 bulb shape, the germicidal water treatment bulb is made using ceramic and is completely compatible with water filters, purifiers and sanitizers. The lamp inactivates and kills bacteria, molds and virus. The high quality fixture is low on mercury dosage to meet environmental demands.
When water is passed through the CureUV’s germicidal UV light, it deactivates the genetic material of the microorganism and renders them incapable of multiplying. The UVC light bulb comes with 12 months sterilizing property after which it must be replaced for maximum effectiveness.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
