The Port Star Pw1 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a guaranteed replacement UV light bulb that is compatible with water filters, sanitizers and purifiers. The lamp makes use of UV-C light to inactivate bacteria, protozoa, molds and virus. The replacement bulb has two pin base on both ends and helps in water purification. The light bulb emits a UV wavelength of 253.7nm that acts on the genetics of the microorganisms and is of high quality.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
