Our Aquafine 3099 Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a single pin double ended light bulb that is a compatible replacement for the following UV-C system models:
- CSL-10R/60
- CSL-12R/60
- CSL-60
- RBE-16
- RBE-60
The 75 Watts light bulb does not make use of chemical handling and requires no special storage. This method of water purification does not cause change in odor, taste, pH or chemistry of water. The UVC light bulb emits a wavelength of 253.7 nm and helps in destroying harmful bacteria such as E.coli, cryptosporidium and giardia. When the UV rays passes through water it changes the genetics of the microorganism and renders them harmless and unfit for reproduction. We recommend that you replace the light bulbs annually for efficiency. The total length of the light bulb is 61.22″ and is set in a non-ozone glass type.
