CureUV Brand UVC Bulb for TrojanUV – 302509 Compatible Generic UV Light Bulb for Germicidal Water Treatment
The TrojanUV – 302509 Compatible Generic UV Light Bulb for Germicidal Water Treatment is a 4 Pin Step Single Ended Amalgam based lamp bulb.
The 256 watts bulb is a high quality fixture and has low mercury dosage to meet the demands of the environment. The UV-C bulb is highly capable of killing and inactivating bacteria, molds, viruses and yeast in water.
When water passes through the UV water treatment system, the microorganisms present in water are exposed to the light and their genetics is disrupted, thus inhibiting their ability to reproduce. This method destroys 99.9% harmful organisms in the water and does not alter the pH, taste or chemistry of water in the process. This method is a better alternative to adding chemicals and their byproducts in water. This system provides protection against water contaminants such as yeast, cyst, bacteria, virus and protozoa.
