The Siemens – 3084 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a compatible OEM water sanitizer, filter and purifier that has a wavelength range of 253.7nm. The ceramic bulb has wattage of 41 watts and a quartz diameter of 15mm. The short wavelength destroys microorganisms such as protozoa, yeast, virus and bacteria in water. The germicidal bulb has single pin base on both ends that helps in purifying water.
UV method is a preferred method of water treatment as it employs UV light at a particular wavelength and disrupts the DNA of microorganisms.
