The Siemens – LP4040 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment provides you a worry-free performance for an average lifespan of 10,000 hours. The 33.2″ bulb has a base of single pin on both ends and a wavelength range of 254nm. The 41 Watts bulb is compatible with sterilization filters, sanitizers and purifiers.
UV purifiers and their lamps are highly cost-effective and do not use chemicals to purify water. This makes UV purified water safe for consumption and does not alter the pH or taste of water. Experts recommend that the UV light bulb must be replaced annually for efficiency as the light bulb may continue to emit UV light even after a year but may not be effective in destroying waterborne microorganisms.
