The Sterilight R-Can SPV-15 Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a 4 Pin Stepped on a Single End – 80 Watt Germicidal Water Treatment Bulb that has a total length of 33.07 inches. The low pressure mercury air lamps emit short wavelength of 254nm. This wavelength is highly effective at inactivating microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, protozoa, yeast and more. The 46 volts fixture comes with a long lifespan and has low mercury dosage to meet the demands of the environment.
Studies have shown that a UV water purification system can effectively destroy 99.9% of waterborne microorganisms.
