The Ultra Dynamics – Dw100 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 27.2 inches single pin on both ends lamp that gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The 32 watts germicidal bulb is completely compatible with germicidal OEM Water sterilization filters, UV sanitizers and water purifiers.
This lamp also uses UV-C light to inactivate and kill bacteria, molds, protozoa, viruses and yeasts. This method of sterilizing water is a purely physical process and does not alter the pH, taste or chemistry of water and is a much better option than chemicals and their byproducts. This system provides protection against water contaminants such as yeast, cyst, bacteria, virus and protozoa.
The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit. This results in easy disposal of glass if it shatters and renders it easy to operate the system. All you will need to do is to select the option above. The UV lamp starts instantly and makes use of a coil filament that operates hot.
