The Ultravation LP-PP-0041SA UV Light Bulb works for germicidal treatment guaranteed replacement Ultraviolet (UV) Bulb. The medium bi-pin, double ends – 80 Watts – 34.40 inch length lamp gives you a worry free performance for 1 year.
The lamp has a diameter of 15 mm and an average life of 10,000 hours. The low pressure mercury air lamps emit short wavelength of 254nm. This wavelength is highly effective at inactivating microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, protozoa, yeast and more. The 80 watts fixture comes with a long lifespan and has low mercury dosage to meet the demands of the environment.
Studies have shown that a UV water purification system can effectively destroy 99.9% of waterborne microorganisms. It provides a safe solution as this method of sterilizing water is a purely physical process and does not alter the chemistry, pH or taste of water.
