The Ushio – G25T8 Germicidal UV Light Bulb is a 17.16 inches lamp bulb that provides a worry-free performance for an entire year. The 25 watts UV bulb emits UV-C light to inactivate bacteria, molds, virus, protozoa and yeast present in water. The germicidal UV-C bulb has a two pin base that helps in purifying air and water. The lamp has a diameter of 25.5mm that is high on quality and has lower mercury dosage to meet environmental demands. The low pressure mercury arc lamp emits a radiation peak of 253.7 nm and is effective against pathogens in water.
The light bulb is compatible with germicidal OEM air, and water disinfection filter, UV sanitizer and ultraviolet purifiers. The short wavelengths of the germicidal light bulbs emit ultraviolet rays that enable thorough disinfection. This method alters the genetic composition of the microorganisms and renders them harmless.
